Founded by Hashan De Silva and backed by Karst Peak Capital, the firm targets high-potential biotech, medical devices, diagnostics, and health tech companies at a pivotal inflection point of value creation.

Hashan's Experience
Hashan was the Head of Healthcare at Karst Peak Capital leading the firm's investments in healthcare. Prior to Karst Peak Capital, Hashan was the Lead Healthcare Analyst at CLSA Australia and the Associate Healthcare Analyst at Macquarie Bank, covering ASX-listed healthcare companies. Preceding his entry into finance, he gained industry experience while working at Eli Lilly. He was also a Lieutenant in the Australian Army Reserves, serving from 2006 to 2014.Hashan holds a Bachelors degree in Medicine, a Masters degree in Finance from UNSW and is a CFA Charterholder

Principal - Operations

Michael's Experience
Prior to joining KP Rx, Michael served on the Partner Selection team at NSW Treasury Corporation and was an Associate Director and Head of Australian Equities at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) for approximately seven years. He worked in the manager research team, covering private equity as well as global and emerging market equities. He also served as an assistant Portfolio Manager for WTW's Global Equity Focused Fund. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts/Commerce (Finance) and a Master of Financial Management from the Australian National University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Cameron Jones

CFO

Cameron's Experience
Cameron is the Founding and Managing Director of Bio101. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Cameron acts as CFO and Company Secretary for a number of ASX listed healthcare companies and Venture Capital investee companies. Cameron has supported companies through the IPO process, capital raisings and M&A transactions. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, majoring in Accounting, a Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional, registered tax agent.
